I wish I didn’t have to do this review, because I LOVE the pit and my set up. In fact, I posted it on socials and had dozens of people buy too. Unfortunately, despite having the lid and a cover, the inside of my pit has rust after 1 week. The top ring particularly. Despite following all the care guidelines and being ruthless with wood selection. I’ve sent emails in, but no one has got back to me about it as yet. Hoping they can help me with navigating this, so I can update my review and continue to send more people over. As I said, wish it wasn’t already rusting.
Works exactly as advertised. Just unpacking it you can feel the quality of the product.
The best thing about our fire pit unlike a fire is that everyone gathered around it gets heat, not just the one or two standing in front of a traditional fire.
Heat shield really made a difference.
We couldn’t decide between the regular and jumbo, went with regular easier to transport, set up on the deck at beach house worked perfectly. I also brought the mat, cooking grill though cooked quite fast and cover for storage , Love it in the black

Bought it for our deck and it’s a dream, easy to light, easy to control, easy to move around, easy to clean and very easy to have a beer around! Highly recommend
We love our Wizard, use it often for cooking, together with our smoker, and charcoal BBQs it's awesome. Highly recommend the mat (we use it on a wooden deck, the lid, makes extinguishing very easy, and the grill attachment for cooking. Very happy.
I've had all manners of fire pits over the decades all smokey and problematic, this one is the bee's knees for my requirements as a motor homer and lover of staring at flames rather than screens
Looks the Part, nice and easy to use , ideal for what I want to do with it, great piece of camping equipment! Very happy with it.

Does not completely cover it, so water will seep into the rim
Thank you for your feedback - we genuinely appreciate it and read every single one. Please note, we have designed the lid to be flush with the Black Wizard Fire Pit. If it is intented to leave outside in rain and weather, it will need the weatherproof cover, which fits over the lid and the fire pit to protect it from the elements - just like a BBQ.
